SNAP Asset Limits Changed in 2026
Indiana implemented new SNAP asset/resource limits in 2026.
The current limits are:
$3,000 for a household that does not contain an elderly or disabled member.
$4,500 for a household containing a member who is age 60 or older or disabled.
Not everything you own necessarily counts toward the resource limit. For example, Indiana currently states that vehicles used for household transportation are exempt from SNAP resource calculations.
